Our boutique offers an intimate, elevated styling experience with personalized, one-on-one attention in a warm and sophisticated setting. At Soirée, it’s not simply about finding a gown — it’s about ensuring every woman feels polished, confident, and extraordinary when she walks into the room.

As an Eveningwear Stylist at Soirée, you will deliver a personalized, elevated styling experience to mothers of the bride and groom and special-occasion clients. Through expert guidance and warm, attentive service, you will help each woman feel confident, elegant, and extraordinary as she selects the perfect gown for her meaningful celebration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one styling consultations for mothers of the bride and groom, gala clients, and special-occasion guests, taking time to understand their event, personal style, comfort preferences, and desired level of formality.
• Guide clients in selecting evening gowns, silhouettes, fabrics, and accessories that enhance their confidence, complement the occasion, and reflect their individuality.
• Offer thoughtful styling recommendations, including fit guidance, color coordination, and accessory pairing, to create a complete and polished look.
• Utilize refined upselling techniques to elevate the client’s overall styling experience while maintaining a warm, supportive, and non-pressured environment.
• Conduct fittings and communicate alteration recommendations clearly and professionally when needed.
• Maintain a visually elevated and well-organized sales floor, ensuring gowns and displays reflect the boutique’s sophisticated aesthetic.
• Accurately process transactions, manage cash register operations, and handle payments with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Respond to phone calls and client inquiries with warmth, confidence, and clear information about appointments, collections, and services.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless service and uphold Soirée’s standard of excellence in every interaction.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in sales or a customer service position
• Ability to work individually and in a team to achieve targeted results
• Hard working and dynamic person with strong multi-tasking skills
• Impeccable presentation and communication skills
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers from the initial consultation to closing the sale
• The ability to learn quickly and retain information regarding new and existing style
• Fashion background preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform sales processes and techniques to achieve company sales goals.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time, lift boxes and move through the salon
• Must deliver excellent customer service at all times
• MUST be available on the weekends but we are flexible.

We are seeking someone who has passion for bridal fashion, enthusiastic, motivated, and loves to celebrate love stories. Have experience with fabric, fashion trends, and gowns structures and can deliver “beyond the dress” experience to our brides.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Bridal Stylist who is:

• Excited to work in a very fast environment,
• Strong background in fashion, bridal gown alterations and sales.
• Not easily overwhelmed,

• Can close at least 70% of their sales

WHAT WE DO

The Bridal Room offers an intimate and private bridal shopping experience for brides and their bridal parties in a private bridal suite and beautiful environment. Our ultimate goal is to provide a curated selection of gowns with unforgettable shopping experience. We ensure every bride is paired with an experienced bridal consultant that will take the time to hand select gowns before the appointment and help her to navigate through the process of selecting her wedding gown.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Create a welcoming environment.
• Immediately welcome customers as they enter the boutique and proactively offer assistance.
• Work one-on-one with brides to style them for their wedding day.
• Helping brides with their accessories and booking alterations appointments.
• Assist with alterations appointments.
• Be an expert on product, policies and the The Bridal Room brand.
• Identify and communicate inventory needs based on client feedback.
• Participate in Pre-Market focus groups with the buying team.
• Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
• Mentor and train new sales stylists.
• Creating a positive environment and experience for brides and guests in a comfortable, friendly retail environment.
• Conducting everyday tasks within the salon including greeting customers, answering phones, responding to customer inquiries, scheduling appointments.
• Contribute to the overall success of the store. This includes but is not limited to client communication.

Position Overview

This is more than an alterations role — it is an integral part of the bridal and evening wear journey.

The ideal candidate is an experienced seamstress with hands-on expertise in bridal and formalwear alterations, along with the emotional intelligence to guide brides and mothers through fittings with patience, confidence, and care. You will work closely with our stylists and clients to ensure each gown fits beautifully and feels extraordinary.

Compensation

Hourly $23-$27

The position can be hourly or commission-based, depending on skills and schedule, but it is negotiable

Responsibilities

• Conduct fittings for brides, mothers of the bride and groom, and eveningwear clients
• Accurately pin and assess gowns for alterations
• Provide clear cost estimates and realistic timelines
• Perform high-quality alterations on bridal gowns and formalwear
• Work with delicate fabrics, structure, boning, lace, beading, and finishing details
• Press and prepare gowns for final pickup
• Create a calm, reassuring environment during fittings
• Collaborate closely with stylists to deliver a seamless boutique experience

Skills Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Minimum 5-7 years professional experience in bridal and evening wear alterations (no hobby or home sewing)
• Expertise in fitting, re-structuring, hemming, boning, bustling, lace appliqué, and beadwork
• Ability to maintain high quality standards under seasonal deadlines
• Strong prior experience specific to bridal gowns and formalwear
